Dreamy Nashville Chapel Countryside Wedding
For this styled wedding session, I wanted to create something that truly reflected my passion for capturing love in its most genuine form. While I appreciate unique props and extravagant setups, there's something incredibly special about focusing on the couple's love as the true centerpiece of the day.
My goal was to showcase the raw emotion between two people who are simply excited to be getting married, without any distractions. This session was all about the effortless beauty of love, and it allowed me to capture those genuine moments that I adore so much in my work.
My favorite part of the shoot was definitely the stunning early spring sunset. The sky lit up in the most beautiful way, perfectly complementing the couple's radiant love for each other. It was one of those magical moments that makes you grateful to be behind the camera.
The couple in this session holds a special place in my heartβthey are two of my best friends, and I was even a bridesmaid in their real wedding back in 2021. It was so much fun to relive those memories and capture them in this setting. The chapel we chose has its own unique charm. I grew up passing by this chapel and was always mesmerized by it. When I finally got the chance to meet the owner, she shared the sweetest story with me: her grandfather built the chapel using scraps from their old house as a gift for his wife. It was such a meaningful location, and I was thrilled to be able to shoot there.
To give a modern twist to this rustic chapel, we focused on styling the bride in a way that felt fresh and trendy while still honoring the chapel's barebones vibe. The dress from Everlasting Bridal in Monroe, GA, offered a contemporary spin on the classic ballgown with its babydoll sleeves. We paired it with an Old Hollywood hairstyle, which is incredibly popular right now in wedding fashion. The combination of these elements brought a modern elegance to the timeless setting of the chapel.
